Minimalism

Minimalist navbars strip navigation to the links that matter, with plenty of negative space and little or no decoration. It is the most common style in the directory, with fifteen entries, because it is the hardest to get wrong and the easiest to get boring.

The good ones still have one idea. L'Étude runs its navigation vertically down the centre of the page and uses it as a work filter. LAFOUR has possibly the most minimal navbar on the internet, with the videography doing the talking. Greptile fits a full mega menu into a compact, sticky strip.
