Dropdown
navbars
They're not quite mega and they're not quite...normal.
About dropdown navbars
A dropdown navbar opens a single panel under one link, rather than the multi-column spread of a mega menu. More than a flat list, less than a takeover.
Factory pairs a clean monotype bar with a large dropdown, and Beehiiv uses dropdowns inside a larger mega menu. The pattern suits products with a handful of grouped pages, where a mega menu would feel empty.
